President Message

Greeting's everyone and welcome to the new Badminton Asia website. The new website represents the dawn of an era with more dynamism, enthusiasm, energy and vibrancy for Badminton Asia.

The members of the Executive Committee and secretariat have been working on the construction of this website long prior to our landmark decision to redefine Badminton Asia in Extraordinary General Meeting in Kuwait and have continued working hard since. The new website will be nothing like we have seen before and it will be the platform for all our members, stakeholders, partners, and even sponsors to communicate, educate and share on all the happenings within the Asian badminton fraternity. This will be the spotlight in the centre stage for all of us.

As we move forward, we as a confederation need to strengthen our membership in order to increase our presence in the world of badminton. The voice of Asia must be well represented in Badminton World Federation (BWF), and it is our duty to be united and show that Badminton Asia is a major mover in Badminton.

I am deeply humbled and honoured to serve as your President for the next four years. I am a strong believer of openness and transparency, hence your honest opinion whether it be big or small matters to me. I look forward to challenges ahead and what they have in store for me, but I truly hope that all of you could walk with me together as a team. I am here to serve every member of Badminton Asia, so please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns, questions or inquiries.
